Pics from last year—my 4th time going to the range with my boyfie (now fiancé 💖), two brothers showed up with their modified Russian SKS and I got to try!

Me: How much kick back does it have?

Brother: It doesn’t have much of a kick back. You’ll barely feel it, just like the .22.

NO! I totally felt that, lol. But it was fun. Their scope wasn’t great but I was accurate all 4 shots at 50m! Didn’t take pic of my target but I’m such a newbie anyways, it’s probs not impressive :c

One of the range officers told us that the gals in the classes are usually better with accuracy and guys are better with precision. That’s pretty cool! Any thoughts on that?
